With over 14,380 lakes, it's no surprise ice sports have become quite a tradition around Minnesota. Ice skating is a fun way to exercise during the wintertime. Whether you play hockey, figure skate, or simply like to skate around, there are so many great rinks around the Twin Cities. Many of them are outdoors too, so it's easy to get some fresh air.   With three full indoor rinks, a locker room, spectator seating, skate rentals, and a concession stand, Parade Ice Garden is easily one of the best skating spots in Minneapolis. Open skating takes place most weekday afternoons, but the rink also hosts adult open hockey and figure skating pro ice as well. There are often many events to watch on the weekends.    You can buy any of these apples by the pound from apple crates kept stocked at the shop in front of the orchard. You'll also find delicious products like unpasteurized honey, caramel apples, and apple-related treats like crisps and pies. Guests do not currently have the option to pick their own fruit, but they are allowed to walk around the orchard and enjoy the beauty of the farm's well-kept grounds.
