A Wine Lover's Guide to November in the Twin Cities

Milly's Wine Bar & Bistro

Whether you know a lot about wine or are just getting started, Milly's Wine Bar & Bistro has something for you. They strive to make wine accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
Their wines are sold by the glass or the bottle, or try one of their fun flights, like:

The Tasting Room

Located in the heart of Uptown Minneapolis, The Tasting Room creates an experience of friendship and connection over a glass or a bottle of wine. They source their wines from the best wineries all over the world, including:
- Provence, France
- Bordeaux, France
- Lombardy, Italy
- Napa Valley, California
And they have wines for all price ranges, whether you're looking for rare and fancy or something more affordable. You can also book their Cellar Room for private events of up to 18 people.
Bar Brava

For natural wines and food made from scratch, check out Bar Brava. Their wines are entirely made with no additives or pesticides, as well as being:
- Organically farmed
- Unfiltered
- Unfined
- Fermented with wild yeast
And their kitchen features a rotating lineup of guest chefs-in-residence, so there's always something new and delicious to experience there. Right now, it's Chefs Tony Gao and Mike Yuen, creating unique modern Chinese-American cuisine.
Troubador Wine Bar

For a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, head to Troubador Wine Bar. They serve wine by the bottle or the glass, accompanied by live music every night from a variety of local musicians across different genres. An evening there feels like a party, especially when you add something from their rotating sandwich menu, or one of their decadent (but affordable) desserts. If you want to have a good time and be social, Troubador is the place to be.
Estelle
1806 St. Clair Ave., St. Paul, MN 55105
For Southern European wines, such as those from Spain, Italy, and Portugal, Estelle is where you want to be. They also have an array of delicious tapas, pastas, and large plates, with plenty of different menu items from the same regions. See what they have to offer!
Barcelona Wine Bar
508 Washington Ave. N, Minneapolis, MN 55401
At Barcelona Wine Bar, they have an extensive menu of Spanish and South American wines, including 40 sold by the glass and over 500 sold by the bottle, from over 100 different regions, including:
- Argentina
- Chile
- Lebanon
- Greece
Plus a large menu of tapas, charcuterie, and more. Happy hour is Monday through Thursday, 4-6 p.m. And be sure to bring your credit card, as they're a completely cashless restaurant.
