Twin Cities: Best Fourth of July Events for 2024
Celebrating the Fourth of July around the Twin Cities is sure to be a highlight of your summer. If you love live music, great food, and spectacular fireworks displays, you're in for a treat this year. The Fourth of July is one of our favorite holidays because the Twin Cities maintain a festive vibe throughout the week. It's the perfect chance to get out some fresh air, enjoy time with friends and family, and tour your favorite Minneapolis homes for sale. Many events are taking place within a short drive of these St. Paul homes for sale, too. We pulled together a list of the top community events around the area to help you plan your holiday.

Minneapolis Riverfront Park will be the place to be this Fourth of July. Red, White, and Boom is one of the best celebrations in the Twin Cities. A great Fourth of July celebration will take place at Boulevard Plaza Park in Coon Rapids. The city's 4th of July Celebration runs from July 2-4, and features live music, games, rides, a parade, and a 5K run. There are always great local food trucks there, too. Best of all, the event's grand finale fireworks were voted a Top Fireworks Show in Minnesota. This 4th of July Parade is an Edina holiday tradition. The parade begins at 10 a.m. at Edina city hall and travels down 50th Street toward Halifax. Enjoy creative floats, horses, musicians, community groups, and more. This parade is a huge attraction, as roughly 20,000 people attend every year. This is a fun, day-long 4th of July celebration that ends with a spectacular public fireworks display on Lake Minnetonka. The event takes place in Commons Park in downtown Excelsior, which is right on the lakeshore. Activities include a Firecracker Run, food trucks, and games throughout the day.
