Essential Summer Fun: 5 Twin Cities Food Events | Counselor Realty

Summer is prime food festival time in the Twin Cities, and you'll be able to try everything from crispy pork belly to baklava as you visit your favorites.   1. St. Paul Food Truck Festival - Union Depot Lot C, 390 E. Kellogg Blvd., St. Paul, MN 55101 - 11 a.m.-7 p.m. July 13 and 14, 2024
    Head to the St. Paul Food Truck Festival to treat yourself to goodies such as crispy pork belly, wood-fired pizza, and gourmet mini doughnuts. You'll have over 50 food trucks to choose from, and you can wash your tasty dishes down with local craft brews, ciders, and non-alcoholic drinks. Live music and games such as giant Connect 4 and Hammerschlagen will add to the fun.

  2. Taste of Minnesota - Nicollet Mall, 505 Nicollet Ave., Minneapolis, MN 55402 - 11 a.m.-8 p.m. July 6 and 7, 2024
    Taste of Minnesota
    is held annually around the 4th of July, making it a great way to celebrate the holiday and enjoy mid-summer. The festival includes fabulous food, outdoor family fun, and plenty of live music to get you moving. Music headliners include The Wallflowers, Martina McBride, Morris Day & The Time, and Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. And don't forget to attend a puppy party or fly down Washington Avenue on a zip line.

  3. Rosé Fest - Kellogg Mall Park, 62 Kellogg Blvd., St. Paul, MN 55101 - 4-8 p.m. June 8, 2024
    Celebrate National Rosé Day by attending Rosé Fest in beautiful Kellogg Mall Park, where you'll be able to enjoy an evening of fun along with views of the Mississippi River. Sip a handpicked selection of rosé wines while listening to music from DJ Keezy. You'll also be able to shop at local artists and vendors for your choice of handcrafted jewelry, artisanal foods, and other goods. To come an hour early and enjoy perks like exclusive wines and tasty bites catered by Revival, consider buying a VIP ticket.

  4. GrillFest - CHS Field, 360 N. Broadway St., St. Paul, MN 55101 - 1-5 p.m. June 1 and 2, 2024
    Celebrate the kickoff to summer at the 12th annual GrillFest with plenty of food, drinks, and fun. There'll be music on the Sun Deck, and be sure to play some outdoor games while you're at the festival. You'll also be able to take part in fun food-related events such as a Tito's Handmade Vodka tasting experience, a Burger Battle with food from local restaurants, hot dogs from Ambassador and Der Vierner Schlinger, a Margarita Mania Battle, and more.

  5. St. George Greek Festival - St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 1111 Summit Ave., St. Paul, MN 55105 - 5-9 p.m. July 26 and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. July 27, 2024
    If you love Greek food, check out the St. George Greek Festival so you can try all your favorites. Visit the Greek food tent for an authentic Mediterranean street food menu featuring souvlaki, gyros, salad, and more. And, of course, Greek cuisine is well known for its delicious pastries, including baklava. Bakers make goodies for the festival using authentic recipes passed down from early immigrant families. In addition to food, the festival features a bazaar and music.
