Essential Summer Fun: 5 Twin Cities Food Events
Summer is prime food festival time in the Twin Cities, and you'll be able to try everything from crispy pork belly to baklava as you visit your favorites. Head to the St. Paul Food Truck Festival to treat yourself to goodies such as crispy pork belly, wood-fired pizza, and gourmet mini doughnuts. You'll have over 50 food trucks to choose from, and you can wash your tasty dishes down with local craft brews, ciders, and non-alcoholic drinks. Taste of Minnesota is held annually around the 4th of July, making it a great way to celebrate the holiday and enjoy mid-summer. The festival includes fabulous food, outdoor family fun, and plenty of live music to get you moving. Music headliners include The Wallflowers, Martina McBride, Morris Day & The Time, and Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. Celebrate the kickoff to summer at the 12th annual GrillFest with plenty of food, drinks, and fun. There'll be music on the Sun Deck, and be sure to play some outdoor games while you're at the festival.
