The Minnesota State Fair is already in full swing, but there's still plenty of time left to enjoy all that this wonderful, highly anticipated annual event has to offer! There are packed schedules daily from now through Labor Day, with hundreds of events, attractions, and activities to enjoy every day. Hundreds of Things to See and Do Everyday
When we say that there are hundreds of activities to enjoy at the Minnesota State Fair each day, we're not exaggerating. The Event Schedule features more than 300 events and activities on each day from August 28 – September 3, 2023, as well as more than 270 events and activities on the final day of the fair. Many of the most popular activities and events are available all day long, making it easier to plan your day at the State Fair. -
Fabulous Food from Across Minnesota
The food is always one of the highlights of the Minnesota State Fair, and there's plenty to look forward to this year, including some new items on the menu. Some New Foods for this year's event include the Bacon-Wrapped Waffle Dog, Hot Honey Cheese Sticks, Pickle Lemonade, Walleye Fritter Pops, and dozens more unique creations for you to try. -
Enjoy New Attractions for 2023
One of the great things about the Minnesota State Fair is that there are always New Attractions to see each year, and 2023 is certainly no exception. Some of the exciting new attractions this year include the Sweet & Selfie Experience, Can Can Wonderland Mini Golf On-a-Stick, new livestock/agriculture competitions, the special Little Farm Hands 20th Anniversary Celebration, and more than 40 new vendors spread throughout all corners of the fairgrounds. -
Enjoy Exciting Rides at Amusement Parks for All Ages
The Minnesota State Fair aims to be a place where family members of all ages can create wonderful memories, and there are three separate amusement parks here for everyone to enjoy. The Mighty Midway features classic carnival rides, along with games of chance and skill. The Kidway is packed with great rides and attractions for the youngest members of the family. In the mood for a thrill? The Adventure Park is where you'll find the biggest thrill rides the State Fair has to offer. -
Free Live Music and Entertainment
All told, the Minnesota State Fair features 900 shows from more than 100 acts spread across the 12 days of the event—all free to enjoy with the price of admission. These shows are spread across six stages, including the Cosgrove Stage, Family Fair Stage, International Bazaar Stage, Leinie Lodge Bandshell, Schilling Amphitheater, and North Woods Stage. -
