Beer and Pizza Around the Twin Cities - Counselor Realty

Is there a better way to end the week than with beer and pizza on a Friday night? What is it about the doughy, cheesy goodness of pizza that makes it taste so good when combined with a lager or ale? We're not entirely sure, but we know we love it. Another thing we know is there are many great pizza and beer destinations around the Twin Cities, and finding the very best has been a challenge.

If you're looking to take the guesswork out of dinner this weekend, here is a list of some of our favorite places for pizza and beer.

  • Black Sheep Coal Fired Pizza - 600 N. Washington Ave., Minneapolis, MN 55401
Combine your favorite craft beer with a coal-fired, thin-crust pizza at Black Sheep Coal Fired Pizza. Choose a 12" or 16" crust and add your favorite toppings, or choose from a number of specialty pies. The beer selection is large and constantly changing, so you can easily find something you enjoy. The restaurant is open until 1 am on weekends, and it's conveniently located near some spectacular Minneapolis homes for sale

  • Dulono's Sports Bar  - 118 N. 4th St., Minneapolis, MN 55401
Grab a beer and a slice of pizza, and watch the game at this classic Minneapolis sports bar. Dulono's was named one of the top 10 pizza joints in the Twin Cities. Choose from numerous specialty pies or create your own. The Kurtz Special, with sausage, mushrooms, and extra sauce, is a big hit. You'll find an extensive selection of draft and bottled beer too.

  • Rival House Sporting Parlour - 411 Minnesota St., St. Paul, MN 55101
You have to try the wood-fired pizzas at Rival House Sporting Parlour. The Yankee, with pepperoni, sausage, red onion, and sauce, is one of our favorites. There is a rotating draft selection, plus tons of games, including ping pong, bubble hockey, darts, board games, and more. This awesome bar and restaurant is just around the corner from some of our favorite St. Paul homes for sale

  • Red Wagon Pizza Company - 5416 Penn Ave. S, Minneapolis, MN 55419
Red Wagon Pizza Company has been named "Best Pizza" restaurant and "Best Beer Bar" by City Pages and Mpls.St.Paul Magazine, so we obviously had to include it on our list. This local restaurant spins thin crust pies and pours delicious craft beer. It's also been featured on The Food Network's Diners, Drive-ins and Dives twice! The menu has over 15 specialty pizzas, so this is the place to go if you like variety.

  • Red Rabbit - 788 Grand Ave., St. Paul, MN 55105
This authentic Italian restaurant serves great pizzas and has happy hour specials on beer Tuesday through Friday from 2 to 5 pm. Enjoy your meal inside the Red Rabbit dimly-lit cozy dining room or outside on the patio when weather permits. The Family Favorite pizza, which is topped with sausage, pepperoni, and green olives, is a big seller.

The Twin Cities knows how to do pizza and beer the right way. Call today for information on local properties.
