Chocolate Ice Cream - Twin Cities, MN - Counselor Realty

Chocolate is delicious. Ice cream is also delicious. What do you get when you combine the two? Well, you get chocolate ice cream, which just so happens to have its own holiday! National Chocolate Ice Cream Day is June 7th, 2022, and we highly recommend visiting one of these Twin Cities ice cream shops in celebration. Take a break from looking at Minneapolis homes for sale and St. Paul homes for sale, and treat yourself to a scoop.

  • La La Homemade Ice Cream & Luncheonette: 3146 Hennepin Ave. South, Minneapolis, MN 55408
    La La Homemade Ice Cream
makes their own ice cream in-house, using top-quality ingredients like Madagascar vanilla beans. They have a range of flavors, with about 12 to 16 being served at any one time. On National Chocolate Ice Cream Day, some of the top ones to try would be Chocolate Brownie Sundae and Cocoa Chocolate. The Non-Dairy Dark Chocolate Sorbet is an awesome choice if you can't eat dairy.

If you're really in the mood to treat yourself, consider ordering a sundae. You get to pick your own ice cream flavor and toppings, and the toppings list includes unique choices like chocolate chip cookie crumbles and pretzel bits.

  • Sweet Science Ice Cream: 3919 Market St., Edina, MN 55424
If you're looking at Edina homes for sale, stop by Sweet Science Ice Cream for a scoop. This shop uses local, organic ingredients whenever possible. They buy grass-fed cow's milk from ethical farms, and they never use artificial colors or preservatives in their ice cream.

Sweet Science Ice Cream doesn't just have chocolate ice cream. They have Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, Stout Chocolate Cookie, and even Graham Cracker Fudge. Their Vegan Chocolate Chip is popular, too.

  • Pumphouse Creamery: 4754 Chicago Ave. South, Minneapolis, MN 55407
Pumphouse Creamery is the perfect shop to visit if you're in Minneapolis. They opened in 2003 and were selected as one of the Top 25 Ice Cream Makers by Food and Wine Magazine. Pumphouse Creamery sells ice cream by the scoop and by the pint.

The chocolate ice cream here is incredible. It's made with Guittard Rogue cocoa powder, real cream from Autumnwood Farm, and organic egg yolks. The Speckled Milky Chocolate flavor, made with Terroir Chocolate, is also a great choice.

  • Conny's Creamy Cone: 1197 Dale St. N., Saint Paul, MN 55117
Conny's Creamy Cone is a classic ice cream shop where you order at the window then enjoy your sweet treat in an outdoor dining area. They're known for their friendly service and involvement in the local community.

Conny's has delicious chocolate ice cream. But if you want something a bit more unique, order one of their Flurries. They'll blend brownies, chocolate-covered cherries, Heath Bars, and other chocolate goodies into your custom creation.

  • Cold Front Ice Cream: 490 Hamline Ave. S., Saint Paul, MN 55116
Cold Front Ice Cream is a friendly, neighborhood ice cream shop serving classics like fountain drinks and sodas. They work with a lot of other Twin Cities companies like Bootstrap Coffee.

One of the best things to try here is the Supreme Hot Fudge Sundae. They'll let you order it with chocolate ice cream, and it comes topped with tons of hot fudge. The chocolate milkshakes are also incredibly thick and delicious.

If you love chocolate ice cream or ice cream in general, stop by one of these local ice cream shops. The Twin Cities area has so many wonderful businesses and is a lovely place to call home. Call today if you're looking for a real estate agent in the area.
