Swimming Holes Near Minneapolis

Summertime in Minnesota is oh so sweet! We adore the warm weather almost as much as we love our beautiful lakes, parks and natural spaces. Say goodbye to the snow and hello to the sun by paying a visit to one of these six incredible swimming holes around the Minneapolis area.

  1. Lake Minnetonka Swim Pond – 4610 County Rd. 44, Minnetrista, MN 55364 
    The Lake Minnetonka Swim Pond is located right beside Lake Minnetonka in the Lake Minnetonka Regional Park. This pond is surrounded by soft sand on all sides which means there is plenty of lakeside leisure to go around. The pond has a maximum depth of six feet so parents and children can enjoy a safe yet exciting swim.
