St. Paul Swim Classes
Saint Paul homes for sale
are at the center of great opportunities to go swimming!

Kids benefit a lot from learning to swim at an early age. First of all, swimming is a lot of fun – and everyone needs fun. But the reasons go beyond that. Swimming is a wonderful form of full body exercise that can help build healthy habits. Plus, it's an easy way to beat the heat.

Most kids can learn how to swim in a few lessons. This will make it much safer for them to visit the lakes and make accidents around water less likely. Around St. Paul, you'll discover plenty of group swim classes where kids can meet new friends as they learn.

With Learn to Swim Day coming this May 18, there's never been a better time to get swimming!

Let's check out five of the best classes for kids to learn to swim in St. Paul:

  1. Foss Swim School - 1166 University Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55104
Acclaimed Foss Swim School is one of the most popular "all ages" swim schools in Minnesota. Classes are available for six different age categories ranging from six months to adult. The most popular option is the 4-person group class at just $22 per class, but private and semi-private lessons are also available. Purpose-built pools and an expert curriculum distinguish Foss.

  2. A.M.I. Swim School - 1860 University Avenue West, St. Paul, MN 55104
For a world-class experience for kids and parents alike, try A.M.I. Swim School. It features a truly relaxing and luxurious atmosphere that's also safe and fun. Parents can kick back in the lounge while still keeping an eye on live video of the pool. Small classes and a heated therapy pool round out the amenities, and four levels of swim instruction are available.

  3. Como Regional Park Pool - 15 Kellogg Boulevard West, St. Paul, MN 55102
Como Regional Park Pool may not be open in time for Learn to Swim Day, but you can sign up for swim lessons now – the season starts in June. The 25-yard, six-lane pool is great for exercise, and there's even a separate activity pool complete with family slide. There are eight levels of classes, each session lasting 50 minutes. Options are available for swimmers aged six months to adult.

  4. Goldfish Swim School - 7055 10th Street North, Oakdale, MN 55128
Goldfish Swim School is found in Oakdale, just ten minutes from central St. Paul. Everything in this swim school is designed to give kids courage and confidence in the water. Weekly swim lessons are available for kids of all skill levels, four months to 12 years. Family swim, summer kickoff parties, and even birthday parties can also be scheduled here.

  5. Jewish Community Center of Greater St. Paul - 1375 Saint Paul Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55116
At the Jewish Community Center of Greater St. Paul, you'll find tons of educational and cultural events – and swimming is always part of the package. JCC offers everything from parent and child pair swimming to swimming clinics and junior swim lessons. It's one of the only swim schools around St. Paul that has ultra-advanced lessons for 18+ swimmers, too. It's a great time!
