University of Minnesota Spring Jam - April 27

No matter if you're starting a family or continuing your own studies, there's a lot to love in the Twin Cities. But it's not all about hitting the books: There's plenty of fun to be had, too.
The University of Minnesota is the oldest and biggest campus in the University of Minnesota system. Established in 1851, it has since made a name as a leading research university that has earned 29 Nobel Prizes and three Pulitzer Prizes. Wow!
But U of M students don't just work hard, they play hard – and they know how to do it right!

Spring Jam is a Musical Extravaganza You Won't Forget
On Saturday, April 27, one of the most ambitious entertainment programs in the history of the University will be making its much-anticipated return. Carnival rides and delicious food will give attendees plenty to do as they gear up for amazing live performances!
It's the perfect welcome party for warm weather, and it's open to students and the public.
Doors will open at 4 pm and from there, the action never stops. There's a full schedule of live music including the Battle of the Bands winner and four other acts. You'll have a chance to catch the sound of the Twin Cities like never before from right on campus.
The action will be centered around the University's Parking Lot 37, right behind the Mariucci Arena, so there'll be plenty of space for everyone. A beer garden will be available for visitors 21 and older with valid ID, and Coke products will also be on hand.
The event will be held rain or shine, and students can bring guests from the general public. There is a nominal cost for tickets, but carnival rides will be free. Tickets will soon be available from Eventbrite. Keep an eye on the official page for more information!
