Wells Fargo Winterskate 2018 Opens November 17
Winter will be here soon, but the market for homes in Saint Paul is heating up!

St. Paul is a city with plenty of history and a vibrant community. It's no surprise, then, that it has several fun traditions to enjoy throughout the year. One of our very favorites is the Wells Fargo WinterSkate, and it's returning to St. Paul yet again this November.
Winter isn't the same without at least one visit to WinterSkate, which offers fun for the whole family. From November to February right in downtown's beautiful Rice Park, this outdoor ice skating rink serves as a wonderland welcoming St. Paul locals and guests alike.
Saint Paul Winter Destination
The WinterSkate rink has been open to the public five years running now and is one of the area's most sought-after venues for wintertime fun. This year is a special one, as WinterSkate will be returning just in time to celebrate renovations at Rice Park.
Rice Park is a hub for family fun and festivities and offers a green oasis in the midst of an iconic city. Grass, pathways, and landscaping have been redone in Rice Park, but it still offers beautiful Christmas trees and lights — a wonderful sight to see on your way to WinterSkate.
WinterSkate is situated in Landmark Plaza, directly in front of Landmark Center. A traditional tree-lighting ceremony will take place in the Plaza at 5:30 p.m. November 17 and will end with some breathtaking fireworks. Those are scheduled to take flight at 6:45 pm.
Outdoor Family Fun in Saint Paul
This brilliant open-air skating experience is remarkable for its striking view of the city. With a cheerful and festive atmosphere, it provides a full-sized rink that's a favorite for youth hockey games. Occasionally, it has even hosted NHL matches.
When you're done, you won't want to pass up the chance to enjoy a hot chocolate in one of the warming house's cozy corners. You can go directly from there to Rice Park to see twinkling lights or have your adventure with St. Paul's world-class dining and shopping.
